Well, I had the privilege of receiving a Jag35 SP adapter to shoot some test video before they release it at NAB later in the month. I decided to see what it could go in low light considering this is usually where the DOF adapters tend to lack in performance. I was amazed at how well the adapter did. I used my little sister and her bedroom, because background wise it is a great setting and She has wonderful style that would make for an interesting shoot. It has been a while since I have shot with the Canon HV20 since I have got my 7D but I still love the film look these cameras produce. I will definitely be using it on shoots alongside the DSLR. Below is a list of equipment used.

Decided to take the camera out and really run it through the paces last sunday with my buddy Dave (Offset Photography) and his fiance Kelly. We had a few friends running the race so we figured it would be a good way to get back into the groove for the season of offroad events to come. I have not gotten the chance to try slow motion with this camera yet so I figured this would be a good time. I learned a lot from the 4 or so hours of shooting and I am amazed at the possibilities of this camera. There is less room for mistakes but the images are amazing. Anyway, enjoy this short and here is a rundown of what I used that day.

A day at Disneyland with me new 7D with my cousin and her son. I wanted to start getting a feel for the camera. For this being random test shots i'm happy with the results.

Everything is shot at 24fps w/shutter speed at 1/50th, 28mm-135mm F3.5 kit lens & 50mm F1.4 FD w/EOS adapter. VariND etc.

Color Graded w/magic bullet mojo and colorista.
Anamorphic lens flares added in post using Video Copilot Optical Flares.
